<p class="title">The Bengaluru West division police have arrested 26 habitual offenders, detected 51 cases of burglary, chain snatching and vehicle thefts.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The arrests were made over the last one week’s duration while the cases were registered across various police stations in the West division over a period of 6 months to one year.</p>.<p class="bodytext">During the time period, the police said that they recovered gold jewellery and a two-wheeler worth Rs 60 lakh as well.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) West, Ravi Channannavar lauded his men and announced Rs 1 lakh as a reward to the team that nabbed the most number of culprits. The police have also arrested the people who had purchased the stolen goods from the culprits.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“Anyone who offers a shelter to these criminals or buys stolen properties from the offenders will also land in jail along with the criminals,” said Channannavar.</p>
