<p>Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy symbolically distributed a cheque for Rs 50,000 each to 10 flood victims who lost their household articles in the flood. </p>.<p class="bodytext">MLA M P Appacchu Ranjan urged the chief minister to constitute an authority to rebuild the district. Each affected family should be built a house at a cost of Rs 10 lakh. Documents should be handed over to victims who lost theirs in the flood, he appealed. </p>.<p class="bodytext">He appealed to the chief minister to impart free education to children of victims. Funds should be released to lay roads in the district, he added.</p>
