The legislator had moved the High Court seeking quashing the Bench’s order and expunge the remarks made against him while hearing a petition by the employee, Flossy Filomina D Souza who was transferred from Chikmagalur district to Kolar on the behest of the MLA.
In the order dated January 19, 2010 quashing the transfer, Justice Reddy had observed that despite the fact there is no complaint against Flossy D Souza, she was transferred based on a letter written by the MLA to the transport minister.
