BJP confident of completing full term: DV

Last Updated 09 October 2010, 15:21 IST

Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of ‘Krishi Mela-2010’ organised by Zonal Agricultural Research Station (ZARS) at Brahmavar here on Saturday, he said the party is in touch with rebel MLAs and they are aware of the mistakes that have taken place. The government will prove its majority and all speculations will be put to rest by Sunday, 11 am, he added.

He alleged that former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy is involved in dirty politics. However, he may brush aside his alleged attempts to play foul game.

His trip to Goa itself proves his evil mission to hijack the ruling party MLAs. It is entirely different from ‘operation kamala’ and a very cheap approach towards destabilising the process of democracy. The party is confident of coming out of this hasty political turmoil, he reiterated.

“The independent candidates who had been given a forum in the government and were recognised as party ministers proved to be detractors. They are power mongers. Goolihatti Chandrasekhar is one such person who stabbed the government from back. The party has no money to purchase MLAs as alleged by Siddaramaiah. If at all the party has enough funds, it would rather spend for the welfare activities,” he added.
