The girl, whose name is withheld as per requests from her father, is an intermediate student and a native of Gurajala of Chinnaraopet mandal in Warangal district. For the past few days, a boy dressed in T-shirt and jeans has been chasing her and was making lewd comments. As the torture became unbearable, the girl told her father about the incident, following which he approached the police for help.
When the police caught the the Romeo red-handed in the act, they were shocked to note that the “boy” is actually a girl. The girl, Ajmeera Kalpana, is a native of Maheswaram village of the same mandal. She is a cross dresser and has been dressing like a boy for the past five years. Investigations have revealed that Kalpana loves to hang around with men, particularly autorickshaw drivers and other rowdy elements. Concealing her identity, she even enjoys smoking cigarettes with her friends, of course, men.
While the complainant is now confused whether to withdraw the complaint or not, the police are forced to allot a female constable to guard Kalpana.
