Many of them are suffering from sore  throat by shouting and sustained injuries in the scuffle.

Chamarajpet MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan is finding it difficult to talk due to a bad sore throat. He has sustained injuries on his right hand and left leg when members trying to get into the House got physical.

A close confidant of the party State President H D Kumaraswamy, Zameer is resting at a resort near Bidadi, along with the former Chief Minister.

Zameer has been working almost round the clock implementing his party’s plans to oust the BJP Government. He has been entrusted with the responsibility of keeping the rebel MLAs together, safe and well-looked after.

Other JD(S) MLAs were faring no better. Melkote MLA C S Puttaraju was finding it difficult to move around on Tuesday. He was in the thick of action on Monday, shouting down the ruling party members and shoving marshals. Among the Congress leaders, Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar were the most vocal, particularly irked by the presence of police in the Assembly. Congress chief whip Abhayachandra, N A Harris and other MLAs scuffled with the marshals and policemen inside the Hall. Cong MLA H C Mahadevappa suffered a minor injury in the melee.

Five independent MLAs, who also contributed much to the pandemonium, are also learnt to be in no better shape. All the 16 rebel MLAs, including 11 disqualified BJP legislators, are staying with the JD(S) legislators in the resort.

BJPLP meet

As for the BJP legislators, the Golden Palm resort, on the outskirts of Bangalore, has been their home for the last six days.

On  Tuesday, all the 105 MLAs were flown to New Delhi where they were briefed  by the party’s central leaders.

They left for Delhi in different fights - Jet, Kingfisher and Indian - early on Tuesday and came back the same day by a special fight.

It will be back to the resort on Wednesday were they will stay put till October 14.
A whip will be issued to all the legislators on the eve of the trust vote. BJPLP meeting will be held on Wednesday night at the resort.
