Jagadeesh was lodged in the Central Prison after he was denied bail by a lower court. He was arrested by the Lokayukta police on September 30 for allegedly bribing a witness connected to the investigation into the Karnataka Industrial AreasDevelopment Board scam.
He was accused of giving Ramanjanappa, a resident of R K Nagar, a sum of Rs 1 lakh to not to give any evidence against him.
