Bus services on CMH Road again!

 
The plying of buses on the route was barred for the last two years, putting commuters to great hardships.

According to Sampangi Ramegowda, Divisional Traffic Officer (BMTC), the routes, numbering up to 12, will remain the same as before. More than 100 buses will ply on this  stretch.
“We are waiting for the traffic police to permit vehicular movement. We will coordinate with Metro officials to resume our bus service. It will bring great relief to the commuters. ” he said.

Indiranagar and CMH Road residents are an elated lot as these last two years they were at the mercy of fleecing autorickshaw drivers in the absence of bus services.

Meanwhile, BMTC officials will conduct a survey to further improve services as this is one of the busiest routes in the city. “We will see if more bus shelters are needed,” he added.

K2 Service bus

Meanwhile, the K2 buses will ply on a circular route covering Central Business District. These bus will run from Yeshwanthpur to Mekhri Circle, Indian Express, M G Road, Ulsoor, Indiranagar, Domlur, Inner Ring Road, Koramangala and St John’s Road.

* 138, 139: Jeevanbima nagar; 314 series: C V Raman Nagar, DRDO, Viveknagar;
* 201/7D/7F: Domlur, HAL  2nd stage, Indiranagar; 132, 201G: Domlur.
