On September 23, Chief Justice J S Khehar had constituted a new Bench headed by Justice N Anand to hear the matter as the Bench comprising Justices K Sreedhar Rao and B V Pinto recused from hearing the case on September 15.
A Fast Track Court on July 14 awarded life sentence to Shubha and three others in the case and Shubha has appealed against the conviction. The new Bench headed by Justice N Anand, who heard the matter has reserved its judgement after the arguments of C V Nagesh, counsel for the accused concluded.
