It has garnered loan proposals worth of Rs 212 crore. SBI plans increasing investment credit in agricultural sector, as Karnataka needs atleast Rs 8,000 crore in next 2 years.
SBI Bangalore Circle CGM Arundathi Bhattacharya said establishment of agri-commercial branches will facilitate large investments for agri projects through introduction of technological innovations, cold storage, value chains etc.
