Ruckus: 15 MLAs get 4 more days to reply

The committee, which is inquiring into the ruckus episode, met in Bangalore on Friday. Of the seven members of the committee, three have already resigned. The chairman had served notices on 15 MLAs and asked them to submit reply by October 27. As the respondents sought more time, the committee, resolved to give four more days’ time. If they fail to reply by November 3, they have to appear before the committee in person on November 4.

Speaker K G Bopaiah had asked the committee to submit its report by November 5. However, Appachu Ranjan has sought 15 days more time to submit his report.
