4 held for duping mobile showroom

According to police, the arrested are Abdul Riyaz (25), resident of Melkar, Abdul Majeed (34) of Attavar, Sajeed (31) of Farangipete and Tejaswiraj (27) of Ladyhill. Acting on a tip off, police arrested four persons while travelling in a car at Pumpwell. It is said that some of the accused are influential persons. Mohammed Riyaz is son of Forest Officer. Abdul Majeed is a partner in a jewellery showroom and Tejaswiraj is a youth leader of a political party. It is said that they have cheated others in the City using fake credit cards.
Moreover, it is learnt that they were cheating people for fun. The CC camera in the mobile showroom helped in solving the case and identifying the accused.
