UPA government condemned for its comment on RSS

Protesters shouted slogans against UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi in the rally, which commenced from the Taluk Office premises. Later they submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner. They urged that patriotic organisations like RSS should not be compared with terrorist organisations.

RSS South India Samparka Pramukh Pattabhiram addressing the protesters said, “it is a part of a conspiracy that the UPA government has termed the RSS as a terrorist organisation.” The RSS is not holding protest to protect any political party, instead, it is a fight to awaken the society and to protect the nation, he added.

MLAs C T Ravi, D N Jeevaraj, M P Kumaraswamy, Suresh and Dr Vishwanath spoke on the occasion. Meanwhile, the District In-charge and Excise Minister Renukacharya participated only in the rally.
