<p>A telemedicine unit of Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences with equipment such as ECG, X-ray, ultrasound, diagnostic lab with satellite connectivity to the Amritha Medical College Hospital in Kochi was stationed in the village for the whole day. <br /><br />Participants<br /><br />Doctors and technicians from Amritha Institute and Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) assisted in the telemedicine camp. More than 250 villagers were examined at the camp. St Philomena’s Degree College Principal Father Leslie Moras inaugurated the programme.<br /></p>
