HM militant Inqlabi's wife, father-in-law held in Rajouri

"We have held Inqlabi's wife Shehnaz Akhter and his father-in-law Bashir Ahmed who has been shifted for questioning in connection with activities of Inqlabi. We expect some clues from them", Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajouri Ramesh Jhalla told PTI today.

One militant of HM Zia-ul-Haq was also arrested from Kandi belt of Rajouri district, he said adding he has been sent to Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC). After evading arrest for nearly a decade, Inqlabi was arrested by Delhi Police after a brief gunbattle on Monday.

Chichi, who belonged to Shahdra area of Muzafarrabad district in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), married 20-year-old Shehnaz Akhter in Rajouri district in 2008. He had a son and a daughter and was allegedly instrumental in killing of his Hizb associate from POK Dujana in 2008 after suspecting him of having illicit relations with Shehnaz.

Abdullah crossed over from POK to Rajouri in Jammu region in the year 2000 and was operating in Pir Panchal areas of Jammu district.
