The players who are going to contest in the election to State Cricket Board to be held on November 21, spoke with the media persons at the Golf Club, on Wednesday. “Transparent administration is our objective. We played cricket for many years, hence we have contacts with many national and international cricketers. We have many dreams and ideas as to how cricket in the State can be promoted efficiently,” Srinath said.

“Best cricketers cannot be shaped by building stadiums. More people should start playing cricket. Then only best cricketers will emerge. Identification, encouragement and coaching are the important aspects, which help a player to become best in the field. The question of construction of stadiums comes only in the later phase,” Kumble said.
