<p>Rakhee Bhattacharjee (22) from Mumbai and Vijay Kumar (35), a resident of the City, were apprehended on Thursday while they were on their way to a hotel from Bengaluru International Airport around 11.30 pm.<br /><br />The Koramangala police said Vijay Kumar, employed in a bar at Neelasandra, allegedly provided high-profile sex workers from outside the State to customers in the City. <br /><br />Police said the nexus had been thriving for over two years. Kumar used to contact online a pimp identified as Kalpana in Delhi, to procure girls for his customers in the City. <br /><br />They would target software engineers for the apparent reason that they were flush with cash. Both suspects were remanded in judicial custody.<br /><br />Maid accused of theft<br /><br />A Spanish national working with a multinational company has accused his maid of stealing 300 euros and 80 pounds (Rs 23,000).<br /><br />Asier Reguera (40) complained to the Cubbon Park police that he had lost the money on November 13 at a service apartment in D’Souza Layout. He said he had kept his wallet on a table while he was busy talking with some friends. <br /><br />After they left, he said, he found the currencies missing from his wallet. On interrogation, the 55-year-old maid pleaded innocence.</p>
