The court also rejected an application filed by Madani's counsel P Usman asking the court to
direct jail authorities to remove the CCTV camera from his cell in the jail.Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Venkatesh Hulagi said that he had no jurisdiction to intervene in the security and safety of jail affairs.
The judicial custody of 13 other accused in the case, who were also produced through video-conferencing, was also extended till December three.
Along with the PDP leader, 31 people were also named in the chargesheet in the case relating to the July 2008 blasts which left a woman dead and 20 others injured.
Of the 32 accused in the case, 14 have been arrested.Karnataka Police arrested Madani on August 17 from Kollam in Kerala.
Madani was also an accused in the 1998 Coimbatore bomb blasts case in which 58 people were killed and over 200 injured. He was later acquitted by the trial court.
