Fire in multi-storey building, no casualties

"Five fire tenders were sent to extinguish the fire which broke out in the M S Building around 8.28 am. Since the floor was used to store old documents and furniture and the fire occurred much before the office timings, no casualties were there," the officials told PTI.

"Electrical short-circuit may have caused the fire in the seven-storey building which was put out in over one hour."

The exact cause, however, is yet to be ascertained, they added.
