The IAF has also rubbished the police claim that Zanjade had attacked the head constables under the influence of alcohol. “He is a medical officer by profession who might not have consumed even a single drop of liquor all his life. A case was filed by Zanjade on November 21 against the two cops of Gangammanagudi police station for physical assault using lathi and hurting the officer thrice,” Wing Commander M C Sudan, Flight Commander, Security, Air Force Station Jalahalli West, said in a press statement on Tuesday.
