Baroda post victory

Karnataka, overnight 160 for five, fared slightly better than they did in their first innings (213) as they were bowled out for 228 runs in 70.3 overs.

Abrar Kazi top scorered for Karnataka with 56 runs and Mayank Agarwal added 53 runs. Sanjay Kumar (32) and Arjun Hoysala (32) contributed  with 64 runs between them.

Krunal Pandya (4-38) took the bulk of the wickets for Baroda while Swapnil Singh (2/49) and Sunil Sharma (2/38) chipped in with two wickets a piece

Baroda, who had posted 328 in their first essay, needed 113 runs to win and despite the loss of seven wickets the visitors held on for five points.

Mohnil Patel top-scored for Baroda in the second innings with a valuable 40 runs. Abrar returned to the field with the ball in his hand and scalped four wickets but Baroda held on for the win.
