MLA visits Akkunje, promises of foot bridge

The MLA promised to construct a foot bridge to connect Sauda-Siddapura-Akkunje. The people of the region has been demanding a foot bridge for Akkunje for the last several years.

 The MLA and BJP Yuva Morcha President Sunil Kumar felicitated Ashwini’s parents Chidananda Shetty and Yashodha Shetty on the occasion.

The locals said that one has to cross a delicate bamboo bridge built across Kubja river to reach Ashwini’s house from Siddapura. To which, the MLA assured to construct a foot bridge from Local Area Development Fund and also assured to develop the road to Akkunje.
