'Use organic manure'

The Agriculture Department has advised farmers to sow the seeds of organic manure in the backdrop of availability of moderate rain in the taluk. A press release stated that farmers should till the land sow around 20-25 kilograms of organic manure seeds per acres of land and later the crops should be used as manure mixing with soil.

Seeds are available for subsidised price at Rs 11 per kilograms at Farmer’s Information Centres of Kasaba and Balehonnur, the release added.
