Five AMU students suspended

University Proctor Mohd Zubair Khan in a notice on Saturday said that these students were suspended and the campus declared “out of bounds for them for incidents of gross misconduct and indiscipline”.

Mushtaq Ahmad, Mohd Ibraheem, Adeel Ahmad, Mohd Osama Shamsi and Syed Umar Ahmad Qadri has been suspended for “disturbing the private life of University officials”, it said. Meanwhile, a large group of students marched to the Proctor’s Office and presented a bouquet to register their protest against the decision.

Mushtaaq Ahmed, said: “We have been suspended for indiscipline, several police cases have been filed against us by the University administration.”
