The incident came to light on Sunday when the victims—all under 10-years—informed about the misdeeds of the teacher to their parents, who took up the issue with the school authorities.
A case against the music teacher, who had been with the school for the last over five years, was registered following a compliant by school Principal Lt Col N R Baberwal (retd).
The accused teacher, Sham Bahadur Thapa, has been absconding. The school is located within the secure and well guarded limits of Western Command of the Army. Children of Army officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCO) and other ranks study in the school.
The absconding teacher has been placed under suspension.
