Student to be feted

Sadiq was awarded the prize and felicitated at the Dr M S Swaminathan Foundation in Chennai on Saturday. The university had organised competitions to create awareness among children about healthy and nutritious foodgrains for children. Five students who were selected for the final five list in the competitions will be felicitated, said Sadiq’s head master Ramakrishnappa.

The five students are Sadiq of the Mahatma Gandhi Government High School, Gouthami of Government High School, Kencharlahalli, Ranjit Kumar of Government High School, Booragamakalahalli, Ramya and Zakir of Government High School, Doddaganjur.

They were taken to Chennai on Friday.
