CM's office tampering with records: Revanna

Revanna had sought copies of the files related to denotification of properties in Bangalore. In reply to Revanna’s RTI application, the secretary of the department said the copies had been sent to the Chief Minister’s office.

Addressing a press conference, Revanna quipped the Chief Minister had become a custodian of all documents pertaining to denotification. He alleged that the Chief Minister’s office was engaged in tampering with the records to safeguard the government, which illegally denotified properties worth crores.

Revanna added that he would stage a protest in front of office of the secretary of Urban Development Department on Wednesday demanding the information he has sought.
