'BSY failed to keep his words'

Addressing the installation ceremony of new office-bearers of Vandse Block Congress Committee here on Sunday, he said that people in the State have lost faith in Yeddyurappa, who tenders public apology every time he and his Cabinet collegues commit mistakes.

“Though there is no sufficient fund for the development of the State, the government is releasing funds lavishly for temples. BJP leaders are encouraging corruption as they are fully aware of the fact that they will not get another chance to rule the State,” he charged.

“While poor are deprived of housing facilities, those who are in power manage to procure sites by means of corruption,” he added.

MLC K Prathapchandra Shetty said that harmony will not exist in the society if politicians inspire hate politics. “Politicians should work for the welfare of the society,” he added.
