According to BFS Secretary George Kutty, Pete Maatu aims to start conversations around the issue of gender in an urban context. The three-day event, he said, will deconstruct everyday negotiations that women undertake with City’s spaces namely: Women’s right to mobility & safety, What makes a woman-safe city? and What steps can be taken by citizens and policy makers to make our cities safe for women.
Nearly 24 short features will be screened on the three days which will also see a panel discussion on the second day.
