The 45-year-old 'Austin Powers' actress had announced that she and Nayar, also 45, separated for "private reasons", after pictures of her kissing Australian cricketer Shane Warne were published last weekend.

The couple who had tied the knot amid much fanfare in lavish ceremonies in London and Rajasthan in 2007, did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement and are already said to have drawn up a divorce settlement, reported Daily Mail online.

Earlier reports had suggested that Hurley will have to part from a substantial amount of her fortune during the divorce.

"It will be an amicable settlement with no party giving out large portions of money to anybody. Liz doesn't want Arun's money and neither is Arun interested in her wealth," said a source close to Nayar.

Hurley had earlier taken to Twitter to say that Nayar had always been a great step-father to her son Damian, whose father is Hollywood producer Steve Bing.

"Painful, sad days. Arun & I separated for private reasons but FTR he has been a great father to our son Damian & will always be in his life (sic)," tweeted the actress.

Nayar has been the only father figure in the life of the model's son. His biological father, multi-millionaire film producer Steve Bing, was sued by Hurley to prove he was the father after he claimed his relationship with Hurley was 'non-exclusive'.

Hurley has invested much of her fortune in property. She is the sole owner of the sprawling USD 7 million farmhouse where she and Nayar live in Gloucestershire, and her USD million Chelsea townhouse is still jointly owned by her and her ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant.

Nayar reportedly has no known assets in the UK.
