This gave a breather to the election officers as well as police staff.<br /><br />But post 1.30 pm, almost suddenly, all candidates came to the election office, making even entry into the office difficult. <br /><br />The candidates too could not submit their papers to the officers quickly.<br /><br />Candidates belonging to the Congress party came in to submit their papers at around 12 pm. <br /><br />The BJP and JD(S) candidates submitted their nominations after 1.30 pm.<br /><br />Restless wait<br /><br />In Mulbagal, the candidates from various parties and their supporters waited restlessly at the Anjaneyaswamy Temple during the one-and-a-half hours of the Rahukala period, when the doors of the office were shut to candidates.</p>
