Positioning of pieces decides fate of a game

 However there are certain situations when odd looking piece positioning virtually become forced.

The ensuing game is an example where the Black queen goes wandering onto the King side and is actually placed on the King-rook square. This definitely is a very rare queen placement in chess and it indicates the fate of the queen as it is virtually rendered powerless. And once the most powerful piece on board is not able to exert influence, then a loss is inevitable.
