SEC to probe Hurd's exit from HP

“Federal regulators are investigating Mark Hurd’s departure from HP that includes an examination of a claim he shared inside information,” The Wall Street Journal said.

SEC is checking whether Hurd, now co-President of Oracle Corp, passed information about HP’s US$13.9 billion acquisition of EDS Corp in 2008 to former HP event hostess.
