BCCI warns erring teams

Last Updated 21 December 2010, 15:51 IST

It has been learnt that the BCCI is upset that most of the franchisee owners are in talks with uncapped domestic players who won’t be up for auctions.

“Yes, we have received a communication from BCCI that we shouldn’t get in talks with the uncapped players till BCCI announces the dates,” a Delhi Daredevils official told PTI on Tuesday.

He further added, “The BCCI has set some guidelines for signing the uncapped players and all the franchises are told to follow the rules.”

However, the teams are still in dark as to when BCCI will start allowing them to sign the domestic players.
