Krishna, Ambareesh to share dais

The three senior Vokkaliga politicians will be at the Silver Jubilee Park in Mandya city at 3 pm to campaign for the party candidates who are contesting the ZP and TP elections, according to KPCC president G Parameshwara.

Krishna and Ambareesh have not been in talking terms for many years. Made Gowda too had disassociated himself from the Congress.

“I have been successful in convincing all three senior leaders to share a dais for the sake of the party. They have agreed. It will be a historical day,” Parameshwara said. Mandya, being a Vokkaliga belt, is a known strong bastion of the JD(S). At one time the Congress had major presence in this district. The BJP is yet to strengthen its base.
