School van driver killed

M R Nataraj Urs, 40, a resident of Yelahanka New Town and working for the Delhi Public School (DPS) North, was crushed to death by the car heading towards Yelahanka, police said.

The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to Nimhans which refused to admit and declared him brought dead. Later, he was shifted to the Dr Ambedkar Hospital which confirmed his death, the police said.

The police have seized the car owned by a person from Marenahalli and detained the driver, Manjunath of Puttenahalli.

Woman ends life

Selvi, 38, was found hanging from the ceiling of her house in Shivan Chetty Garden, off Kamaraj Road, Friday night.

It is learnt that she was suffering from depression.
