Amarjit Kumar, teenaged son of a property dealer, was killed by his kidnappers and his body dumped last night, city superintendent of police Manu Maharaj said.
The body was handed over to his family this morning, he said.
Amarjit, a standard seven student, was kidnapped from near his house in Gardanibagh on December 20.
Police have arrested two persons in connection with the incident and sent them to jail, Maharaj added.
