FAMILY MATTERS

Puneeth Rajkumar

“The year has been great, especially with the success of Jackie, for which I have my brother (Raghavendra Rajkumar) and mother (Parvathamma) to thank.

I am celebrating New Year with my family and kids at home. We generally have a nice dinner  and spend some quality time together. In the New Year, my aim is to be a part of good Kannada cinema and entertain my fans all the more. I also plan to keep my resolution of losing weight and being fit.”

Pooja Gandhi

“The year 2010 started on a sweet note for me with Minnagu for which I got critical acclaim. And then of course, I got to work with my sister Radhika which was so much fun. Though I hardly had any releases and major hits, I have loved the kind of work I have done. I am sure 2011 will be my year with most of my films lined for release. I will be spending the New Year with family at home. I generally don’t make any resolutions but one promise I won’t break is my commitment to work towards the betterment of people and children affected with HIV.”

Upendra

“2010 has been a big year for me, especially because I took up direction after a decade. The reviews and feedback from the audience have been positive and encouraging enough for me to continue and make better films in the years to come. There’s no place like home and family, so my New Year day will be spent with my wife and kids.”

Ragini Dwivedi

“Looking back, the year has been rather kind to me. I did a lot of good work and my dream of working with Amitabh Bachchan and Mohanlal came true. I will be busy shooting on the New Year day but it doesn’t bother me as I treat my team as my family. I wish I could keep my resolutions but I don’t ever stick to them. If I have to keep one, it would be to stay off aerated drinks and of course, act in meaningful cinema.”
