Bus falls into gorge, 3 devotees killed

The dead are bus driver Anji (38), Bonal Narasimhaswamy (29) and Bonal Ramesh (55), both devotees of Lord Ayyappa.

Those seriously injured have been admitted to KIMS hospital in Hubli, while those who have suffered minor injuries are being treated at Yellapur hospital.

The driver of the bus, which was heading to Sabarimala from Andhra Pradesh, lost control while negotiating a curve at Arabali Ghat, rammed into a car, then hit against another four-wheeler and plunged into the valley, along with the car.  The car driver escaped with minor injuries.
