Hotel worker hacked to death

Passersby who saw a dead body with grievous head injuries lying in front of a hotel at  Amaravathi junction in Tilaknagar, informed the police. Based on the SSLC marks card found in his pocket, police established the victim’s identity as Sunil from Shimoga.

“The motive for the murder is not known. Sunil was working in a hotel at Corporation Circle. He was fired recently after the owner allegedly found him committing thefts in the hotel. It is not known where he was staying and what he was doing since then,” Mico Layout sub-division ACP Nagaraj said.

Sunil had come to Bangalore six years ago and had worked in several hotels.
