The CID, Forest Cell, sleuths arrested two persons for allegedly trying to sell ivory and recovered a pair of ivory weighing 8.460 kg and a rickshaw, all valued at Rs 25 lakh. The accused are Madhu, a resident of Hassan and Guruswamy of Honneganahalli of Kanakapura. Based on a tip off, the police raided a venue near Bommanahalli tempo stand and arrested the accused.
