Muthappa, Nagaraja, Sheik Riyaz Ahemad and Sharnappa Amarapura attacked Vinod Shettigar with a knife leading to his death this morning, they said.Shettigar had assaulted Nagaraja recently and the attack is suspected to be an act of revenge, the police said.
Shettigar was arrested on August 3 last year in connection with an attack on a person.
