)The scaffoldings must be strong and sturdy enough to withstand the pressure/weight exerted by the demolishing squad and only skilled workers who are having experiencing in demolishing works should be hired.

)Proper insurance cover should be in place for all workers involved in the demolishing work.

)As in the case of circus, there must be a huge net which can withstand the weight of the squad so that in case of fall, there will not be any injury, especially to the head. The workers should be provided with a strong and sturdy headgear/helmet of a special type so that in case of fall, their heads will not be damaged,

)The BMRCL should use the expertise of the civil engineering dept. officials/engineers to adcertain the age of the building to be demolished and whether the walls are strong enough to get them demolished manually or in case of a old wall to use JCB machines invariably in the first instance and then switch on to demolish manually. As far as possible demolition should be carried out by the JCB machine,

)All the demolition workers should be provided with safety dresses.

)An ambulance with the paramedical staff with doctors and medicines should be at the site of the demolition site to shift the workers in emergency situations or to give first aid in case of a simple fall.

)The BMRCL should see that no workers should be in inebriated condition.

)The BMRCL should avoid passing the buck on contractors for any mishap that might happen while demolition work is in progress,as it is the full responsibility of the BMRCL to hire only efficient and capable and skilled contractors to undertake the demolition work by the workers.

The BMRCL should take all precautions to avoid death of workers by monitoring the progress of the various stages of demolition work in person and advise the workers to be careful in discharging their tedious work.

The BBMP engineers must be present at the demolition site to advise the BMRCL not to hurry up the work by giving due weightage to the safety of the workers after entrusting the Metro work to them.
