Seminar on machine tools

 In his welcome address Past President-IMTMA, C P Rangachar said that IMTEX is one of the events by IMTMA which is not to teach but to inspire industry enthusiasts. We should improvise and raise the standards of education right from the basic to various advanced levels, he added.

Saint-Gobain, Core Technology, Director, Dr K Subramanian said that machine tool industry are the building blocks of a country’s economy which integrates the human skills.

New machines used percentage of GDP - 0.05% in India, 0.19% in China, 0.12% in Brazil, he added. Toyota Kirlsokar Motor Pvt Ltd, Deputy Managing Director, S Tomonaga said that the rising  trend in Indian auto market is positive for the machine tools industry.
