Police said, some workers were constructing a drain at Cross-12, in Malleswaram. At about noon, the wall adjacent to the drain collapsed killing Eeresh (18) on the spot. A case has been registered against the contractor, Nagesh.
Woman ends life
A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging, at her residence at Kallakere under Ramamurthynagar police station limits on Thursday. Police said, Savitha, 20, had got married to Revanna Siddappa around one-and-half year ago. On Thursday, when the family was away, Savitha hanged herself. The reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
