“If the allegations are proved right we are ready to go to prison,” said KPCC Working President D K Shivakumar.
Speaking after inaugurating a workshop on BBMP elections organised by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Women’s Block, in Bangalore on Saturday, Shivakumar said the government had failed to avert violence in the city.
However, it is engaged in making baseless allegations against the Congress.
State’s failure
He also alleged that the government had failed to provide fertilisers for farmers in time.
The Agriculture Minister Ravindranath is not aware of the shortage in his own district, Davangere.
