The company had posted a net profit of 153.22 billion Yen (over Rs 8,450 crore) in the corresponding period previous year, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) said.
The consolidated total net revenue during the third quarter also slipped by 11.71 per cent to 4.67 trillion Yen (over Rs 2,57,800 crore) from Rs 5.29 trillion Yen (over Rs 2,92,000 crore), it added.
Toyota, however, revised its forecast upwards for annual consolidated net profit in 2010-11 to 490 billion Yen (over Rs 27,000 crore).
