Probe into leak deaths

 Labour Minister B N Bache Gowda visited the spot and directed the Department of Factory and Boiler to submit a report at the earliest.

The Minister also directed the Department to instruct the factory management to stop production till the inquiry is completed, disburse salaries to the staff till the ban on production is revoked, file criminal case against the factory,  and not permit the factory to reopen till safety measures are taken.

A compensation of Rs 6 lakh each was given to relatives of two of the deceased - Deepak Singh and Kumar Singh.
