The 'King of Pop', who had reportedly undergone numerous plastic surgeries in his lifetime and had an obsession to look good, was planning to rebuild his face completely,  Arnold Klein, his dermatologist for 25 years told CNN's Larry King in an interview.

Klein said that years of surgeries had left Jackson's face severely scarred and acne-ridden and the star wanted to look good before his fans during his 'This Is It' performances.

"He came to me because, basically, I was sort of rebuilding his face, because he had severe acne and scarring. He had scarring from having a lot of cosmetic surgery. And my expertise is like it is with every one of my patients. My patients are my treasures," Klein said.

But the dermatologist insists that rumours the star's nose had fallen off his face are untrue.

"I was rebuilding his face so he looked much more normal. And contrary to what people said, he could not take off his nose. His nose was attached. But it looked too small. And I just was trying to get him ready to do the concert, because in the way he looked in his face, he wanted it to be absolutely as perfect as it could be".

Jackson died at the age of 50 after a suspected cardiac arrest on June 25, just weeks before his much awaited comeback concerts, which were to be 'the final curtain call' for the pop star.
