Inaugurating the silver jubilee year 2009-10 celebration of Fr Muller Homoeopathic Medical College on Tuesday in Derlakatte, he said that the board, which is vested with the responsibility of maintaining a register of qualified homoeopaths practicing in the state has taken up steps to create public awareness on homoeopathy and to enhance the standards of homoeopathic practice and practitioners.
“Government has made a proposal to start CME programmes for registered homoeopathic doctors and possibly link it with renewal of registration as practiced in western countries,” he added.
Fr Muller Charitable Institutions Director Fr Patrick Rodrigues presided over the programme and launched the homoeopathic drug proving project.
Fr Muller Homoeopathy Medical College (FMHMC) Founder Director Fr Peter S Noronha launched the village outreach programme of the college, which will be operational in Ullinadka, Maripalla, Jakribettu, Bajpe, Barekad and Parpakariya.
Principal Dr S K Tiwari, Organising Secretary Dr Shivaprasad K, Silver Jubilee Committee Deputy Chairman Dr Srinath Rao among others were present.
